The RUP Unit oversees the delivery of Acea's major infrastructure works, acting as Responsabile Unico di Procedimento (RUP) during the execution phase of complex projects in the environmental, water and infrastructure sectors.

Through its governance capabilities, technical and administrative coordination, and progress monitoring activities, the Unit ensures effective oversight of major investments.

Our activities

We coordinate and oversee the technical and administrative functions associated with the Responsabile Unico del Procedimento (RUP) role, ensuring integration across all execution phases. We supervise authorisation processes, manage contract variations, monitor schedule, cost and quality, and support operational teams in the proper application of public procurement legislation, ensuring transparency, traceability, and risk mitigation.

Contract Execution Governance

We oversee the execution phase, ensuring coordination among the parties involved and continuously monitoring progress in terms of schedule, cost and quality. We also manage contractual obligations and critical issues through to contract close-out.

Stakeholder Management

We manage relations with Contracting Authorities, Public Administrations and other public bodies, ensuring continuity in dialogue and supporting the management of technical working groups and authorisation processes, with the aim of preventing critical issues and fostering alignment among the parties involved.
