Through its Infrastructure Testing Unit, Acea Infrastructure verifies that works meet the performance requirements specified in the design, comply with the technical requirements needed to ensure personal safety and proper functioning, and that the administrative procedures required under the regulations governing structures and plants are followed.
Through its Conformity Verification Unit and testing activities on materials and equipment, it ensures that supplies meet the required performance, technical, economic and quality requirements.

We analyse structural calculations, reports and construction details, and carry out periodic inspections during the construction phases to verify consistency between the design and the works carried out. We examine documentation relating to the structural materials used, plan load tests to be carried out by accredited laboratories to assess structural response under load, and certify the stability and proper execution of the works.
We assess the quality of various types of plant by carrying out functional tests and checks aimed at verifying that they comply with specific industry standards and/or contractual requirements.
We oversee the proper execution of contracts, verifying the contractual, documentary, economic and administrative compliance of works, services and supplies.
We carry out tests, checks and verifications on materials, components, machinery and equipment, including at suppliers' premises, to ensure their technical compliance and fitness for use.
